An extraordinary family fun day focused on culture, creativity and environment.

Come and explore a beautiful bell tent village jam packed with world dance classes, circus skills, storytelling, forest school, art workshops, well-being area, bouncy castle, assault course, yoga, reiki, meditation, face painting, crafts, music, bar, market stalls, mad hatter’s tea party tent and food court.

All ages welcome! Tickets £10 each (+ £1.37 booking fee). Under 2’s free. All activities (excluding face painting) included in the ticket price.

Advance tickets only, book online. Limited event capacity. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Line Up

Movema - World Dance Workshops suitable for all ages and abilities. A fun, friendly workshop with dances from Africa, China, India, Brazil & more!

Bring The Fire - Circus Area to learn various skills such as poi, staff, flower sticks, plates, levistick and more, with closing fire performance.

Creative Balance - Magical, under canvas art workshops. Inspiring the community, young people and families to improve their emotional wellbeing through creative expression.

Little Lamb Tales - Interactive storytelling including traditional tales, folk lore, stories from around the world and well loved familiar tales. Jude Lennon (author) will be accompanied by her trusty mascots Lamby and Flossie!

Formby Foresters - Forest School providing activities around connecting with the environment. Step back from busy lives and be at one with nature.

The Creation Station - Inspire your child’s imagination with hands on Play-Doh modelling and cartoon doodling.

Breathe & Be You - Yoga sessions for children and family yoga sessions including movement, breath work, storytelling, games, singing and relaxation.

Rimrose Valley Friends - Eco activities which encourage people to be healthy in body and mind and protect the natural environment.

Inner Earth Reiki - Group reiki healing sessions, a deeply immersive relaxation experience inside our beautiful well being tent.

Soul Space - Gather in the Sacred Circle for a women’s circle taster session with meditation, followed by a moon ritual and sharing circle. An opportunity for women to collectively connect to their inner power, light and magic.

Ginger Island - Festival and rave inspired face painting. Specialising in all things neon and glitter!

Super Hero Party - Nicola Kent from My Princess Parties is transforming into Super Girl to throw a mega fun Super Hero party. Come along and train to be a real superhero! Learn a super hero dance, enjoy super party games, storytelling and photographs.

Bex Matthews, Artist in Residence - Creating amazing festival artwork and installations to bring colour and creativity to the festival site. Contact info@dreamonevents.co.uk for commissions and collaborations.

Rachel Gilbertson Photography & Film, Official Photographer - On site throughout the festival to capture the magic of Dream On and family festival portraits (available to purchase post-event).

FAQs

What time do the gates open?

Midday. Main programme of activities runs from 12-4pm. Ends at 6pm.

What age is the event aimed at?

This is a family event that welcomes all ages. Activities are designed so that parents and children of all ages can have fun together.

Is there a schedule for activities?

The event programme with full details on activities and timings will be released soon.

Do I need to pre-book or pay extra for any of the activities?

All the activities (excluding face painting) are included in the price of the ticket. Creative Balance Art Workshops must be pre-booked on a first come, first served basis (see programme for details). All other activities are drop-in. 

What are my transport parking options?

We encourage guests to walk, cycle or use public transport. Nearest train station is Blundellsands & Crosby, an 8 minute walk from the venue. There is no car park but plenty of on street parking nearby, be respectful to local residents. The car park is reserved for event staff.

Can I leave the event and come back in again?

Yes, you will be asked to show your stamp.

What can I bring into the event?

A range of food stalls, ice cream van and licensed bar will be on site. You are allowed to bring your own picnics but you are not permitted to bring your own alcohol on site.

Card or cash payments?

Most of the food stalls accept card payments but the bar is cash only.

Will there be veggie/vegan food options?

Yes. And highly delicious ones! Check out MegaFauna.

Can I bring camping chairs?

Yes. Picnic blankets and sun shelters are also permitted. We have an abundance of space on site.

Are dogs allowed?

Sorry, no dogs allowed except guide dogs.

Do you have accessible facilities?

Yes, the site is mostly flat grass with few obstructions. There is a disabled toilet inside the club house. Please contact one of the stewards if you require any additional assistance during the event.

What happens if it rains?

We’re taking our chances with the weather and will be sun dancing the night before. If we get unlucky, there are some covered areas (club house and tents) but we encourage you to bring umbrellas and embrace the rain!
