An extraordinary family festival celebrating culture, creativity, wellbeing and environment.

Come and explore our beautiful village of bell tents filled with activities and workshops to inspire all ages.

With live music, international food court, bar, market stalls, inflatables and art installations there’s something for everyone at Dream On Festival.

All ages welcome! Tickets £15 each (+ £1.96 booking fee). Under 2’s free. All activities (excluding face painting) included in the ticket price.

The Line Up So Far

Fat Cat Brass - An exciting modern UK brass band like you've never seen before. There's Sousaphone, Trombone and Trumpets, plus two guys on STILTS playing the drums!

April Moon - A Canadian duo whose sound weaves between the styles of country, psychedelic, Americana, and pop.

Movema - Award-winning world dance company celebrating diversity through dance, running world dance workshops with dances and music from Africa, China, India and Brazil.

Bring The Fire Project - Enter the circus space to learn a range of circus skills including poi, staff, levi stick, plates, flower sticks and more. Don't miss the fire performance!

Creative Balance - Inspiring the community to improve their emotional wellbeing through creative expression. Join extraordinary art workshops from inside our beautiful Art Tent.

Formby Foresters - drop-in eco activities with chance to create with natural materials, practice forest skills and learn about our local environment. Connect with nature.

Breathe and Be You - Visit the Wellbeing Area for a range of workshops using yoga and mindfulness to support children with their emotional wellbeing.

Capoeira For All - An African-Brazilian cultural tradition combining movement, dance, martial arts, acrobatics, music and play. Perfect for kids and grown-ups alike.

Soul Space - Experience a women's circle taster session within the Well Being Area. Gather in the Sacred Circle for grounding mediation, followed by a moon ritual and sharing circle.

Inner Earth Reiki - Group reiki sessions, a powerful and gentle energy healing technique to balance and restore energy, using meditation, breathwork, sacred smoke and crystals.

Ginger Island - A well-established favourite on the Ibiza, festival and rave scenes, they will be bringing their infamous face painting and body paint stall to Dream On.

FAQs

What time do the gates open?

Gates open at 12noon and close at 6pm on both days.

What age is the event aimed at?

This is a family event that welcomes all ages. Activities are designed so that parents and children of all ages can have fun together.

Is there a schedule for activities?

The event programme with full details on activities and timings will be released soon.

Do I need to pre-book or pay extra for any of the activities?

All the activities (excluding face painting) are included in the price of the ticket. Creative Balance Art Workshops must be pre-booked on a first come, first served basis (see programme for details). All other activities are drop-in. 

What are my transport parking options?

We encourage guests to walk, cycle or use public transport. Nearest train station is Blundellsands & Crosby, an 8 minute walk from the venue. There is no car park but plenty of on street parking nearby, be respectful to local residents. The car park is reserved for event staff.

Is there any festival accommodation?

No. The festival is a two day event, with a different line up on both days.

Can I leave the event and come back in again?

Yes, you will be asked to show your stamp.

What can I bring into the event?

A range of food stalls, ice cream van and licensed bar will be on site. You are allowed to bring your own picnics but you are not permitted to bring your own alcohol on site.

Card or cash payments?

Most of the food stalls accept card payments but the bar is cash only.

Will there be veggie/vegan food options?

Yes. And highly delicious ones! Check out MegaFauna.

Can I bring camping chairs?

Yes. Picnic blankets and sun shelters are also permitted. We have an abundance of space on site.

Are dogs allowed?

Sorry, no dogs allowed except guide dogs.

Do you have accessible facilities?

Yes, the site is mostly flat grass with few obstructions. There is a disabled toilet inside the club house. Please contact one of the stewards if you require any additional assistance during the event.

What happens if it rains?

We’re taking our chances with the weather and will be sun dancing the night before. If we get unlucky, there are some covered areas (club house and tents) but we encourage you to bring umbrellas and embrace the rain!

An extraordinary family fun day focused on culture, creativity and environment.

Come and explore a beautiful bell tent village jam packed with world dance classes, circus skills, storytelling, forest school, art workshops, well-being area, bouncy castle, assault course, yoga, reiki, meditation, face painting, crafts, music, bar, market stalls, mad hatter’s tea party tent and food court.

Line Up

Movema - World Dance Workshops suitable for all ages and abilities. A fun, friendly workshop with dances from Africa, China, India, Brazil & more!

Bring The Fire - Circus Area to learn various skills such as poi, staff, flower sticks, plates, levistick and more, with closing fire performance.

Creative Balance - Magical, under canvas art workshops. Inspiring the community, young people and families to improve their emotional wellbeing through creative expression.

Little Lamb Tales - Interactive storytelling including traditional tales, folk lore, stories from around the world and well loved familiar tales. Jude Lennon (author) will be accompanied by her trusty mascots Lamby and Flossie!

Formby Foresters - Forest School providing activities around connecting with the environment. Step back from busy lives and be at one with nature.

The Creation Station - Inspire your child’s imagination with hands on Play-Doh modelling and cartoon doodling.

Breathe & Be You - Yoga sessions for children and family yoga sessions including movement, breath work, storytelling, games, singing and relaxation.

Rimrose Valley Friends - Eco activities which encourage people to be healthy in body and mind and protect the natural environment.

FAQs

Can I buy food at the party?

Yes. We have a range of caterers selling hot and cold food at the venue, catering for vegetarians and vegans. Please speak with the caterers regarding allergy information. Soft drinks, sweets and snacks are also sold. Cash and card payments accepted.

Can I buy alcohol at the party?

No but you can bring your own. For safety reasons don’t bring glassware. Reusable plastic cups preferred. Any person acting negligently or without due care and attention for their children or other guests will be asked to leave and will not be entitled to a refund.

What are my transport and parking options?

Nearest train station is Blundellsands & Crosby, a 6 minute walk from the venue. There is no car park but plenty of on street parking nearby. Be respectful to local residents. Keep entrances to the venue clear.

What ages is the party for?

All ages welcome but activities aimed at children up to 12 years.

How loud is it?

This is a family friendly party and music is kept at safe levels. Disco lights and bubbles used but no strobe lighting.

Can I leave my children at the party?

No. Our parties are about families having fun together. Adults remain responsible for their children at all times. Children must be supervised at all times, including at the activity stations where balloons, face paint, crafts and transfer tattoos might be used.

Can I get a refund?

There is no refund policy.
